Prosensa appoints two board members

Leiden, The Netherlands, December 14, 2004 – Prosensa has today announced that Dr. Herbert Heyneker and Ruut van Dam have joined the Supervisory Board of Directors effective immediately.
Herbert Heyneker has more than 20 years of R&D experience in molecular genetics. He was the first scientist hired at the founding of Genentech in 1976. In 1984, Herb joined Genencor, a spin-off from Genentech, as Vice President of R&D. Over the past decade he co-founded three biotechnology companies including Eos, a functional genomics company, where he was the Chief Technology Officer. He serves on the board of several biotechnology companies.
Ruut van Dam is member and chairman of the supervisory board. Ruut van Dam is Senior Partner in Custom Management, a leading firm in Executive Interim Management. As Interim CEO he spent 16 years in turning around medium sized companies in a wide range of markets. Before this he was an entrepreneur and bought and established smaller companies in consumer goods and services. Prior he held senior management positions in US and UK multinationals in fast moving consumer goods. He took his business degree at Nijenrode. He is on the supervisory board of a number of companies.
