Prosensa strengthens board with two new board members

Leiden, The Netherlands, May 6, 2008 – Prosensa has today announced that Dr. Peter Goodfellow and Martijn Kleijwegt have joined the Supervisory Board of Directors effective immediately.

Dr. Goodfellow was formerly Senior Vice President for Discovery Research at GlaxoSmithKline. In addition, he serves as a director of the Institute of Cancer Research and as a member of several advisory boards, including the Scientific Advisory Boards of the Beaton Institute, Max Plank Institute Berlin, SCDD, and Sick Kids Research Institute. Peter is on the board of deCODE and the Muscular Dystrophy Campain. He has also held senior positions at SmithKline Beecham, the Balfour chair in genetics at Cambridge University and research positions at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund.

Mr. Kleijwegt founded Life Sciences Partners in 1998 and has been managing partner of Life Sciences Partners since 1998. Mr. Kleijwegt graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a degree in economics. He has served on the boards of a number of companies including Qiagen, Rhein Biotech, Crucell, Movetis and Pronota.
